I tried installing RGS v20.0.3 and the applicatino requested jre 6r30. I proceeded to downloada the JRE (both 64 and 32 bit) onto the machine (windows 7-64 bit)and installed them. Tried again to install RGS20.0.3 but it keeps giving an error. I also tried defining EXE4J_JAVA_HOME as suggested but did not help at all.

Please let the tool install Java 6-29. It will do so in a way that will not affect the Java 6-30 installation on your box. Since Oracle acquired Sun and has started driving the Java ship, we are starting to get very different results from different versions of Java, so we have had to tie each version of our tools to a single version of Java. Java 6-29 (32 bit) is the version of choice for Release 20 of our tools.
